NZ Extreme passes 1 500 hectares in Slovakia

NZ Extreme 1425

The heavy-duty tine harrow Väderstad NZ Extreme is undergoing long-life testing in Slovakia this spring. The NZ Extreme 1425, which was transported to Slovakia directly from Agritechnica last year, is now passing 1 500 hectares in the field.

During the last weeks the 14.25 metre heavy-duty tine harrow NZ Extreme 1425 has been performing seedbed preparation prior to sugar beet- and maize planting in Slovakia. This is the same machine which was exhibited at the agricultural tradeshow Agritechnica in November last year.

- The heavy-duty tine harrow NZ Extreme 1250-1425 sets a new standard for field performance when it comes to seedbed preparation. Its innovative high-quality design brings capacity and agronomic solutions to the farm, says Mattias Hovnert, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, at Väderstad, and continues:

- The NZ Extreme 1425 has now passed 1 500 hectares in the field, and the results are looking very good. According to the plan, the machine will harrow 4 000 hectares in Slovakia and Czech Republic this season.

When the final field testing is completed, the manufacturing of NZ Extreme 1250-1425 will start in 2021, with the ambition to be in full production during the end of the year.
