The 12.5 to 14.25 metre heavy-duty tine harrow NZ Extreme levels the field and creates an ideal seedbed for the coming crop. NZ Extreme is able to perform high-capacity seedbed preparation in a wide range of field conditions – from ploughed to cultivated land.
NZ Extreme offers unmatched capacity combined with a high intensity work result. This reduces the passes needed and retains moisture in the ground.

To ensure exact field contour following precision NZ Extreme has a 5-section frame, able to adapt to the field surface and maintain the selected depth. This is further increased by an innovative weight transfer, ingenious wheel setup and heavy-duty machine design
Wide wheels distributed across the machine length and width, creates a high carrying capacity and ensures same conditions for each tine.
The OffSet bogie support wheel setup, keeps the frame levelled and minimises vibrations.
Carefully selected raw material and design, ensures peak performance of the Extreme tines. The tine concentrates its intense vibration forwards, with minimum sideways movement.
This unique construction means that the Extreme tine focuses all its power where intended - crushing clods and sorting the soil to create ideal conditions for the coming seeding operation.
Its ground clearance ensures a high material throughflow.
CrossBoard provides an aggressive cultivation, ensuring that clods are crushed and the soil is levelled. The working intensity is easily controlled hydraulically from the cab.
The CrossBoard is equipped with master and slave cylinders, this ensures a level working result at all times. The five axle models can be equipped with a rear CrossBoard for additional levelling.
The double-acting stabiliser bar ensures that all CrossBoard tines work together as one unit, preventing individual tines to move forward or backward.
You benefit from an extremely level working result, saving passes and providing ideal conditions for the seed drill.
The ControlFunction on NZ Extreme allows the working depth to be adjusted to varying soil conditions on the move.
To enable an optimal crop establishment, NZ Extreme can be set to work slightly harder on headlands or in areas where somewhat deeper cultivation is required.
To meet differing farming needs, Väderstad offers a wide range of points for cultivators and tine harrows. With the right choice of points you are able to optimise the working result on your fields, providing the best start possible for the next crop.
Equipped with goosefoot points, NZ Extreme is able to provide a full cut in order to control weeds.
After it has been cut by the goosefoot, the weed residues are left on the field’s surface to dry out.

The front CrossBoard Heavy levels and crushes plough furrows and shifts large amounts of soil. The CrossBoard Heavy is supplied with stabilizer bars, which connect all CrossBoard tines together so that they help each other. This makes the CrossBoard Heavy even more powerful in order to reduce clods and make the soil more even.
Track eradicators
The track eradicators loosen up the wheel tracks of the tractor effectively and can be adjusted individually to the desired depth. The track eradicators can be extended and adapted to different tractors with dual wheels.
SingleKnife
The CrossBoard Heavy can be equipped with the knife tool SingleKnife. The SingleKnife will cut clods in the top soil in order to reduce clod sizes. Fastened with the Väderstad QuickChange System - no tools needed.
SingleKnife is available both as standard version, as well as the long-life version SingleKnife Marathon enhanced with hard metal plates.

Point options
With the wide range of points available, the working result can be adjusted to fit different farming needs. The tine is constructed as a modular system, enabling quick change of points.
Goosefoot
The goosefoot point gives a full cut out and makes NZ Extreme a true weed killer. This is particularly useful in organic farming.
The last working zone provides the possibility to add features for improved finishing.
Single following harrow
The Single following harrow sorts the aggregates, so the fine soil aggregates is placed closest to the seedbed bottom where the seed is about to be placed for best seed-to-soil contact.
The larger aggregates will be placed on the top to protect the soil from wind and water erosion.

Rear CrossBoard Light
The optional rear CrossBoard including a stabilising bar finishes the levelling work done by the NZ Extreme. The working intensity of the rear CrossBoard is controlled hydraulically from the cab. With this option the tine harrow contributes to even better depth precision and levelling.
Tiller
The heavy Tiller tines levels the field and provides a slight reconsolidation. It provides a good leveling and crushing ability and can be variated depending on the choice of tiller points.
Crumble roller
The Crumble roller leaves behind a very level surface, with the soil structure reduced to a good tilth, perfect prior to drilling of small-seed crops, such as sugar beet. The contact pressure of the crumbler roller is easily adjusted.
To increase the effect, the Crumble roller can be combined with the Single following harrow.
Connecting drawbar
A connecting drawbar with hydraulic couplings makes it possible to attach a roller behind the cultivator to add reconsolidation and further reduce the amount of passes.
