Regional differences during the year

Demand varied between markets. Operations in Canada showed record volumes, particularly within the Seed Hawk segment, while other markets were characterised by more cautious investment behaviour and organisational adjustments.

In Europe, market conditions remained challenging, with dealers reluctant to build inventory while farmers’ willingness to invest was affected by pressured grain prices and geopolitical uncertainty. Despite this, Väderstad maintained stability and continued to strengthen operational efficiency.

For the current year, a recovery is being seen in the European market, while market conditions in North America are more challenging.

Continued product development

The next-generation row unit for Tempo and Proceed has been launched, along with further developed concepts for ultra-shallow tillage. The digital service E-Connect provides users with access to machine data in real time. The Spirit seed drill has been updated to increase seeding precision.

These developments strengthen farmers’ ability to optimise input use and ensure reliable establishment under varying growing conditions.

Sustainability

Sustainability is an integrated part of operations. Through precision technology and ultra-shallow tillage, Väderstad’s solutions enable farmers to produce more with less environmental impact. During the year, energy efficiency and resource optimisation in production were further improved.
