Planting a small seeded crop at shallow planting depth requires the planter to be very gentle to the seed. The main components of the small seeds kit includes suspended stop wheels and the ability to adjust the angle of the closing wheels.
- The task of the stop wheel is to ensure an optimal seed-to-soil contact when the seed leaves the seed tube. By equipping the stop wheel with a suspension, this operation can be adjusted to be gentler to the seed. - To provide a good closing of the seed trench at shallow planting depth, the angle of the closing wheels can be adjusted. The changing of the closing wheel angle is easily carried out with a lever on each row unit.
