Superior depth keeping
A key performance indicator of a cultivator tine is its ability to keep its high force to the soil at all times. This is where Cultus and Cultus HD stands out from the crowd. If meeting a heavy obstacle, the tine is able to fully release out of the soil to pass the obstacle while saving stress on tine and frame. When re-entering the soil, it will however keep its full power to quickly return to working position. In this way the machine is able to ensure an extremely accurate depth precision, resulting in excellent tillage results over the entire field.
Cultus HD tine – Keeping the depth. Always.
The heart of the machine is the heavy-duty Cultus HD tines. With a release force up to 1499 lbs, Cultus HD will keep its depth in a full range of conditions. Set depth is delivered in all soils, all working depths.
Cultus tine – Intense cultivation
The Cultus tine is designed for high performance during a long working life. With a very effective stone release at 1058 lbs and horizontally mounted double springs.
Full control from the cab
Cultus and Cultus HD are able to cultivate the soil down to 11.8 in. depth, but the machines also works very well in shallow cultivation.
To gain full control, the working depth is controlled hydraulically from the cab on all mounted versions. This makes Cultus and Cultus HD versatile precision cultivators on varying soil types.

MixIn doubles the effect
All Väderstad tine cultivators are equipped with the unique MixIn shin as standard.
The MixIn shin throws the material forwards instead of upwards, which otherwise is the usual direction. When it has landed, the material passes by the tines once again, and the mixing and crumbling effect is doubled.
The forward movement further enhances the straw distribution, leading to a more even crop emergence. The unique MixIn shin provide superior mixing and crumbling, without increasing fuel costs.
High performance star shaped levellers
The rotating leveller ensures an optimal performance in varying conditions and handles residues very well. The star-shaped leveller discs are more forgiving than standard discs when adjusting working depth. This minimizes the need of adjustments.
High versatility
Cultus and Cultus HD can be delivered in two basic versions, customised for a range of field conditions.
Depending on the need for reconsolidation and weight distribution, Cultus can be delivered as a mounted machine as well as a trailed machine equipped with a rubber packer, the RubberRunner.
Rubber suspended packer
The packer transfers intense vibrations into the cultivator frame. By suspending the packer with rubber, the sharp shocks are eliminated and the frame working life increases drastically.
Turn Cultus into a seed drill
Cultus can be delivered with the mountable small seeder BioDrill, enabling it to drill in the same pass as cultivating. This saves time and helps maintain ground moisture. Cultus produces a compaction free root zone providing perfect conditions for the plant.
The excellent crumbling and residue mixing provides the perfect enviroment for the new plants.

Zone 1 - Intensive loosening and mixing
Cultus and Cultus HD provides an intense mixing and loosening. The Cultus tine delivers 480kg release force and a working depth down to 25cm, while Cultus HD provide 680kg release force and 30cm working depth.

Zone 2 - Levelling
Rubber-suspended levelers with maintenance-free bearings leave a very smooth surface.
Disc levellers
Zone 3 - Reconsolidation
The rubber suspended packer reconsolidates the soil profile, at full working depth of the machine. The trailed models are transported on the packer, which is why RubberRunner is supplied as standard.
