Follow the 2024 Tempo planting in US

Starting in June 2024, the Väderstad Tempo planter range will be introduced in the US. Leading up to this, multiple Tempo high-speed planters are planting fields throughout the Midwest. During the season, we will share updates on planting progress, field conditions and crop developments, as well as introduce you to the farmers who have welcomed the Tempo to their farms. With the support of our demo team, we invite you to follow our journey firsthand.

Tempo in field 2024

During the 2024 planting season, multiple Tempo planters will be in operation across the US.

  • Minnesota: Corn and soybeans with Tempo K 24
  • Iowa: Corn and soybeans with Tempo K 24
  • Red River Valley area: Sugar beets and corn with Tempo L 24 Central Fill
  • South Dakota: Corn and soybeans with Tempo K 24
  • North Dakota: Corn and soybeans with Tempo K 24

May 20th – Demonstrating Reliability and Efficiency

Planting precision of over 99.2% at a speed of 9 mph, this machine planted 140 acres of corn today at 33,000 seeds per acre. To date, the machine has covered a total of 1600 acres.  The planter is now located NW of LaMoure, ND.

April 14th – First day Sugar beet planting

First day of planting sugar beets in East-Central Minnesota with the Tempo L 24 Central Fill. The soil condition was great, ready for planting!

The Tempo L 24 Central Fill will be ready for planting very soon, once the weather permits! This 24-row high-speed planter fitted with 22” spacing, will be planting sugar beets, corn and soybeans in the Red River Valley this spring!

February 28th - First pre-series Tempo K rolls off assembly line

The production of the first Tempo K pre-series machine marks a significant milestone for Väderstad, and there is growing excitement about the launch of this product. A celebratory event was recently held at the end of the assembly line in Wahpeton, ND to commemorate the occasion.

May 2023 – Field testing in America
