Väderstad welcomes Extract to the product portfolio

Väderstad, one of the world's leading companies in tillage, seeding, and planting, has launched a new product family of row crop cultivators: Extract. The new product family will be part of Väderstad's tillage product portfolio and will be sold under the Väderstad brand in the summer of 2024.


Väderstad introduces prescription map tillage and E-Services for TopDown and Opus

The Väderstad TopDown cultivator gets a new update for the 2024 field season, including a new design and the introduction of Väderstad E-Control, an iPad-based control system. Additionally, the cultivator will be able to apply prescription map tillage through ISOBUS Task Control.


Liquid fertiliser is introduced to the Tempo L 8-24

The high-speed planter, Väderstad Tempo L 8-24, can now be equipped with an optional liquid fertilizer system. The system is fully integrated into the machine, designed for the high-speed precision planting that the Väderstad Tempo is known for.


New electronics optimize the accuracy of the Tempo planter

The new electronic system WSX will be introduced to Väderstad Tempo F, Tempo V, and Tempo L in the summer of 2024. With the upgrade to the electronics of the planter, new features to ensure accuracy in the field are enabled. These new features include automatic seed singulation, active hydraulic row unit downforce, and curve compensation.

Väderstad’s new Tempo K high-speed planter builds on the proven success of the Tempo concept, but with larger capacity and other adaptations to meet the needs of North American farming operations. Its advanced, yet simple design provides unmatched precision to maximize the potential of the planted crop.


Väderstad Components builds new production line to increase capacity

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage and seeding, expands the Väderstad Components facility in Överum, Sweden. Due to a continued increase in demand for genuine parts, a third disc production line will be built.


Väderstad expands factory

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage and seeding, expands its factory in Väderstad, Sweden with an additional l35,000 sq. ft. The expansion provides additional areas for assembly and painting, with the aim of a production capacity of 10,000 machines annually in Väderstad by 2028.


Väderstad acquires inter-row cultivators

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage and seeding, acquires parts of the Danish company Thyregod. By doing this a full product line of inter-row cultivators is added to the current Väderstad product portfolio.


Väderstad reaches a turnover of 550 MEUR

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, drilling and planting, reaches a new record turnover for the financial year 2022. From 420 MEUR (444,851,400) in FY2021 Väderstad passed 550 MEUR ($582,386,750) in FY2022.


Proceed awarded as Farm Machine 2022

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding and planting, introduced our latest product innovation Väderstad Proceed in December 2021. Today it was announced that the Proceed wins the award of Farm Machine 2022 in the seeders and planters category, previously known as “Machine of the year”.
