The 510mm CrossCutter Disc performs full cultivation at an ultra-shallow working depth of only 3–5 cm, enabling the Carrier XL to deliver intensive shallow tillage. This shallow depth preserves moisture and ensures a high germination rate for oilseed rape, weeds, and grain volunteers. Ideal for stubble, cover crops, silage maize stubble, or seedbed preparation, it provides improved lengthwise residue distribution compared to standard discs. Sharp corners and a wide working width maximise cut-out efficiency.
