The new Tempo L models combines excellent high-speed planting precision with high capacity output of both seed and fertiliser. The all-new Tempo L 8 has 8 row units, a 3000 litre fertiliser hopper and row spacing from 700-800mm.
- By easily changing the number of row units from 8 to 12, the machine offer full versatility for the farmer. When configured as an 8-row machine, the row spacing can be set from 700 to 800mm. While the 12-row configuration enables narrow row spacing alternatives from 450 to 508mm, says Jörgen Dahl, Product Manager Planters, at Väderstad.
With the new models, a new 3 000 litre fertiliser hopper is introduced as a compliment to the 5 000 litre hopper on the top-capacity models. The new 3 000 litre fertiliser hopper is available for all 8, 12 and 18-row Tempo L models. The new fertiliser hopper is also introduced as an option for existing Tempo L 12 and Tempo L 18 models, increasing the versatility in row spacing even further.
- The new 3 000 litre fertiliser hopper is equipped the same high capacity Fenix III metering system, as the 5 000 litre hopper. The Fenix III metering system can deliver up to 350kg fertiliser per hectare at 15 km/h planting speed, says Jörgen Dahl.
The new Tempo L 8, as well as the new fertiliser hopper solution and new row spacing alternatives for Tempo L 12 and Tempo L 18 will go into production in November 2019.
