Väderstad sets a new record year – despite Covid

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage and planting, is once again producing a strong financial result during the financial year 2020. Despite a year heavily marked by Covid-19 and two extra weeks of production stoppages, Väderstad reaches a new record turnover of SEK 3.4 billion and improves earnings by 23 percent compared to the previous year.

In February 2022, Henrik Gilstring will take over as President and CEO. Henrik represents the third generation of the owner family and is currently part of Group Management.

Väderstad stands out in survey: "The strongest brand we have seen"

The analysis company Strat7 Bonamy Finch measured Väderstad's brand against nine other companies on the Swedish market. 99 percent of farmers surveyed said that they were familiar or very familiar with Väderstad as a company and an overwhelming majority were positive about Väderstad's brand.

Väderstad continues to invest in the manufacture of genuine parts

Väderstad Components, a subsidiary of the Väderstad Group, manufactures key wearing parts for Väderstad’s agricultural machinery. During the past two years the company has been investing in rebuilding and expanding the factory and creating a new production line. To meet the increased demand for genuine parts, the factory is now being expanded by a further 2,000 m2.
