This year the French agricultural exhibition Sima attracted almost 250000 visitors, nearly 20000 more than in 2011. Many of these enjoyed a visit to the Väderstad stand, where for example Carrier XL with 61 cm discs and the mounted precision seed drill Tempo T were among the new machines that attracted great attention.
The new Spirit 600C also attracted a lot of interest. Combi drilling is on the increase around Europe.
A steady stream of curious and interested visitors passed through the stand
Test results in Top Agrar have put Tempo on the European map through demonstrating better seed placement than the two competitors at 15 km/h
Carrier XL has been developed to meet the demand from farmers growing crops that produce large amounts of harvest trash, for example maize. The larger discs are capable of working to 15 cm depth.
Many customers have asked for a larger model of Spirit Combi and Spirit 600C offers a 5000-litre hopper. This machine covers up fertiliser to give faster, more reliable establishment as both seed and fertiliser are surrounded by moist soil.
