No obstacle course for winter rape

Without the plough, it is easier to establish a winter rape crop at the right time. However, drilling in time is not enough. The emerging rape should not have to face an obstacle course of straw left on the surface of unploughed soil. The System Disc toolbar on Rapid is a good help, according to recent trials.

Winter rape will soon have to be in the ground. Early drilling will hopefully lead to early emergence, provided that there is sufficient moisture for germination around the rape seed. Early drilling, emergence and establishment provide a good start in life for winter rape.

Steady stream of visitors

“It all went really well and it was very inspiring to meet all the visitors”, said Carolina Nyström, who was responsible for organising this year’s visiting season.
