Väderstad Tillage NZ Aggressive 700

NZ Aggressive 500-1000

Multitasking seedbed preparation

NZ Aggressive 500-1000 is a seedbed tine harrow, available in working widths from 5 to 10 metres. It has a levelling CrossBoard followed by tines with 7.5cm spacing, distributed across 5 or 6 axles. The highly intensive cultivation saves passes whilst retaining ground moisture. You benefit from a high carrying capacity, giving a constant working depth and enabling early entry into the field.

Selected features

NZ Aggressive depth control

Depth control for increased precision

The ControlFunction on NZ Aggressive allows the working depth to be adjusted to varying soil conditions on the move.

To enable an optimal crop establishment, NZ Aggressive can be set to work slightly harder on headlands or in areas where somewhat deeper cultivation is required.

NZ Aggressive tines vibrating

Vibrating tines for perfect results

The intensively vibrating AgrillaCobra tines are made from hardened steel. The vibrations sort the soil moving larger aggregates to the top and smaller fractions in the bottom. This creates a weatherproof surface and at the same time ensuring seed-to-soil contact. The point is positioned behind its mounting, giving a very good stone resistance and long working life. The combination of good ground clearance and tine distribution provides an impressive through-flow and intensive seedbed cultivation.

NZ Aggressive CrossBoard levels the field

CrossBoard levels the field

CrossBoard provides an aggressive cultivation, ensuring that clods are crushed and the soil is levelled. The working intensity is easily controlled hydraulically from the cab.

The CrossBoard is equipped with master and slave cylinders, this ensures a level working result at all times. The five axle models can be equipped with a rear CrossBoard for additional levelling.

Väderstad stabilization bars

Stabilizer bar - the key for success

The double-acting stabiliser bar ensures that all CrossBoard tines work together as one unit, preventing individual tines to move forward or backward.

You benefit from an extremely level working result, saving passes and providing ideal conditions for the seed drill.

With the SingleKnife fitted on the CrossBoard, the cultivation effect is further intensified. This is a benefit in heavy soils or ploughed land.

SingleKnife is easy to fit, without the need for tools, using the Väderstad QuickChange System.

Väderstad tine harrow NZ Aggressive

Differentiated bogie lowers vibrations

The support wheels are mounted as a bogie unit with offset, thereby giving the frame two carrying axles. This provides NZ Aggressive with stability lengthwise and ensures that the tines in the first row work at the same depth as the last row.

By distributing the load with 40% on the front bogie wheels and 60% on the rear, impressive contouring and great responsivity on uneven ground is achieved.

NZ Aggressive suspension increases working life

Suspension increases working life

NZ Aggressive 700-1000 is equipped with suspended transport wheels as standard.

The wheel suspension protects the machines frame by eliminating heavy shocks during transport.

Additionally, this results in a calm ride at higher transport speeds.

NZ Aggressive with a versatile following harrow

A versatile following harrow

To finish the seedbed preparation, the vibrating following harrow tines create an evaporation barrier whilst sorting larger aggregates and weeds to the surface.

The pressure and working angle can be adjusted to adapt to different field conditions. A fold-back function prevents possible damages from reverse driving.

Product concept

Zone 1 - Powerful levelling

The front CrossBoard Heavy levels and crushes plough furrows and shifts large amounts of soil. The CrossBoard Heavy is supplied with stabilizer bars, which connect all CrossBoard tines together so that they help each other. This makes the CrossBoard Heavy even more powerful in order to reduce clods and make the soil more even.

Zone 2 - Seedbed preparation

The AgrillaCobra tines are designed to maximise the movement of soil. The strong and durable tines work the soil to produce an excellent seedbed. The clearance under the frame and the distribution of tines over 5 or 6 axles gives a good flow of soil through the machine. The distance between tines is 7.5cm which distributes the soil so that larger clods are placed on the top and smaller particles deeper, which is favorable for early drilling.
